“This is your Jar of Light, sweetheart,” her mother whispered. “I made it from the moments you love most.”

Each little twinkle inside the jar, she explained, held a tiny memory – Ellie’s laughter in the garden, her first bedtime story she read all by herself, their warmest hugs on rainy nights.

As Ellie peered into the jar, it was like watching a movie made just for her. She could almost hear the giggles on the swing, feel the crayons in her hand drawing her first card for Mom, and see the blanket forts they built to read books inside.

“Whenever you feel scared or lonely,” her mom said softly, “just open this jar. The light of my love will always be with you.”
